Sounds Vol I was released by
Shantytown when they used to be
called, "Kingdom Beat".
It is a one of a kind compilation
of mostly Authentic Christian Ska and
Reggae bands from the big
"Ska" revival of 1996.

actually a really good comp and though
most of these bands are no longer
together it has some good moments like
the last track,
"Havanigilah" by the Kingdom
Beat Allstars. It's an old Jewish song
set to a Ska rhythm with a combination
of musicians from all the bands
including a great horn section and
fiddle player. |
